Samson Rubber Industries (Pvt) Ltd (DSI Tyres) – Overall Silver Award Winner

The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka, one of the most prominent chambers in the nation, acknowledged Samson Rubber Industries (Pvt) Ltd (DSI Tyres) for its achievements in their esteemed "National Business Excellence Awards 2024" ceremony. Receiving four awards—Overall Winner -Silver Award, Extra Large Category –runner up, Export sector – runner up and Excellence in Global market reach – runner up was a delight for DSI Tyres. Founded in 1983 DSI Tyres has come a long way expanding its product range and has now enjoys the Market leadership in all of its products in the domestic market. The company had been thriving to win the export market in our journey and today we are proud to be an exporter catering to over 50 countries across five continents. DSI Tyres manufactures pneumatic tyres and tubes for use on Bicycles, motor cycles, three wheelers and lawn and garden equipment.

Additionally, tubes are made for trucks and buses. Despite a number of obstacles, the company was able to reach these noteworthy milestones via teamwork, innovation and high-quality products and services. LAUGFS Corporation (Rubber) Limited emerged as the ‘Winner in the Large Category’ and secured the title of ‘Winner for Excellence in Business and Financial Results – Large Category’. Additionally, the company earned the ‘Bronze Award – Overall’ and was recognised as the Runner-Up in the Export Sector for the third consecutive year, as well as received a Merit Award for Global Market Reach. The recent awards night was organised by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) and honoured Sri Lankan brands for their outstanding business performance and contributions to the country’s economic progress.
